Once you are driving it doesn't tighten up? My gt25 is loose until the game starts and both motors keep it play free.

Looks like a standard g27 to me. They make a larger deadzone at center so that the 2 motors that are used for feedback don’t try to fight each other, causing tons of wear and a massive racket.
